Accounting services

Accounting services are performed in accordance with Accounting Law, International Financial Reporting Standards i.e. Croatian Financial Reporting Standards (depending on business unit size and needs), Value Added Tax, Personal and Corporate Income Tax regulations and other regulations that govern accounting and financial activity in Croatia and of course in accordance with our clients' accounting policies.

 

Accounting services include:

  • Bookkeeping services – trial balance, general ledger and prescribed analytic records, depreciation calculation, petty cash management
  • Value added tax – incoming invoices control, VAT calculations, prescribed VAT records (AP and AR ledgers), tax authority adjustments
  • Quarter financial reports according to Croatian legislation
  • Annual financial reports according to Croatian legislation
  • Reports requested from Croatian National Bank related to loans received from abroad and foreign proprietary investments
  • Foreign trade activities and foreign payment registers management (control books)
  • Clients' registration with tax authority (VAT system registration)
  • Documents' deliveries to client offices, banks, tax authority, Financial Agency (FINA), Croatian Institute for Health Insurance (HZZO), Croatian Institute for Pension Insurance (HZMO) and to other regulatory bodies
  • Report submission via Internet to regulatory bodies
  • Assistance to auditors during financial report audit
  • Assistance to tax authority and other bodies during control processes

 

 Services that we provide to our clients are constantly adjusted according to our clients specific needs;

 

Among other we also provide the following:

  • General ledger management applying chart of accounts generally used in Croatia as well as applying clients' chart of accounts
  • General ledger management, trial balance and prescribed reports preparation in English language
  • Data formatting in accounting software in a way suitable for delivery via Internet

 Data processing application is constantly upgraded in accordance with new (and existing) regulations and in a way of enabling preparation of reports which classify data in several different ways such as:

  • General ledger is kept simultaneously for different business years
  • Financial reports requested for periods shorter than one year (weekly, monthly) both in Croatian and English language
  • Possibility of reports preparation on a company level, profit center level, cost center level and based on any segment inside mentioned categories
  • Transactions that are carried out in foreign currency can be preseneted both in functional and presentation currency; for instance foreign currency account can be listed both in HRK and EUR currency
  • Financial reports can also be prepared with applying exchange rates and currency required by the clients and/or their subsidiaries (i.e. in presentation currency)
  • Certain transactions are possible to track in more categories; partners (customer/vendor), cost/profit centers or in HRK, EUR and similar

 

Accounting services are provided in our offices (it is possible to use client’s applications/system/programs) as well as in clients' offices (depending on clients' needs and demands). Besides providing complete outsourced accounting services, we also provide controlling, preparing annual statutory financial statements and reporting packages for the group; providing accounting guidelines for bookkeeping of complex business transactions (applicable for clients who already have finance and accounting departments within their own business organization).
