Benko Kotruljic (BK) limited liability company was founded in December of 1990 with core business of providing accounting services. Upon establishing, as an additional activity, BK was registered as supporting (back office) service provider for financial service institutions. With such business engagement, during its early years, BK has positioned itself as the leading provider of accounting services, statutory and regulatory financial reporting services, internal reporting services, and advisory services for the investment banking pioneers and financial assets management companies in the national market. This top position was held for many years.

During the later periods and changes in the external as well as in the internal environment, the Company have continued providing services to regional entities of multinational companies, domestic financial industry, and other domestic and foreign companies of all industrial sectors, any size, including start-up companies and companies at the seed stage.

Nowadays BK employ approximately 30 persons, mostly younger age. All of our staff are continuously involved in professional and academic training. Our team consists of certified auditors, accountants with national and international certificates (Chartered Accountant, Forensic Accountant, Internal Auditor, IFRS Certified).

In the advisory team one partner with a CFA^® charter, FRM^® certificate and passed exam for an Investment Advisor as well as the partner with a Chartered Tax Advisor national certificate.

The process approach is assured and framed by the international standards ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO / IEC 27001:2013 (Information Security Management). Implemented processes provide a stable foundation for quick adaptation to various clients' requirements as well as to regulatory challenges.

Clients of BK operate in the areas of different legislation. Thus, we follow national and international accounting standards (IFRS) by reporting in both, Croatian and English language where applicable. Consideration is given to the regulatory specifics and the frame of the client parent companies (USGAAP).

We are constantly trying to meet our clients' needs and requests (therefore we provide our services in our premises or clients' offices). Data input is performed either in our own or in clients' ERP or an accounting module, having in mind that all data, reports and information need to be up to date and easily accessible by the clients.
